It's the holiday season

I've really enjoyed my break so far. Christmas was fabulous! I loved spending it with my grandparents and with most of my family (Gregg, the bro-in-law, is currently in basic training). It also has been super nice to really not have to be anywhere in particular and boy have I been lazy! But we haven't just been sitting around all the time. We did get a rip roarin' game of Twister going. I almost won, but Krysta cheated a lot (she bit me!).

Even Brad got in the action. I have more Christmas pics to post, but I'm too lazy to go find my camera to download them. Guess you'll have to stay in suspense!

The holidays begin. . .

So I've started my official Christmas break today. I've actually been home since Saturday, but my vacation starts today cause I didn't go to work. And I've already been basically been snowed it. 8 inches or so today and lots of wind make Kindra pretty housebound. But, on the bright side of things, I get to spend lots of time with my niece and nephew, the little angels. MacKayla has really warmed up to me this trip and hardly lets me out of her sight. Now that's love. And Brenix, he is just too cute!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

So it finally snowed in Idaho, I mean it really snowed. None of this flaky here, flaky there stuff. We gots a couple inches now. Unfortunately, we are not the proud owners of a snow shovel. And since we are so extremely popular and always have people at our house, our steps have become somewhat of a safety hazard. As you can see from the picture, Beccah willing demonstrates what could happen in the event of someone slipping on our mini ice skating rink. What is a house of girls to do? I don't have a hammer since our pot smoking neighbors took mine and our shoes did not work at all at chipping away at the glacial mass. So, what do college graduates do? Use their brains!

And we use our scissors! I wasn't sure what Beccah was doing when I went look for a hammer, but I soon discovered she found a solution to the problem.

Better than my solution. I wanted to dump water on it. Nice, Kindra. Way to use your noggin.

La De Da

I just felt that I needed to post something cause I don't very often. It is a Friday night and I need to fill some time instead of writing my talk and practicing my musical number. Yep, singing and talking in the same sacrament meeting. Bring on the blessings!
I did get my Christmas presents wrapped, which is fantastic. And yes, my vaccuum takes a Z size bag and not an A size bag and since I discovered that nugget of knowledge, my floor looks the best it has in a long, long time.
Oh, and there is only 13, almost 12 days until Christmas and I'm getting snow this weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving way late!

So it was Thanksgiving at home this year. The food was great, the rolls were soft and the pies were heavenly. I am so grateful for a good family and to have them so close. Now I'm ready to bring on Christmas!

Isn't my grandma beautiful? You can see where I get it from!
