It's Christmas!!!

So I thought since I missed Thanksgiving, I better catch up for Christmas. I had a couple weeks off from work, so I've just been kicking back and enjoying some time with the family. Here are a few pics from Christmas.

Halloween!!!

So I really had no idea what I was going to do with myself for Halloween. I really wasn't terribly excited about going to the dance, but I decided I should go, just to be social. So I came up with this gem of a costume on my way home from work.

Yep, I'm a sunburned tourist. Funny thing is, this is what I look like after most vacations in the sun, white legs included. If I had a dollar for every person that asked me if the sunburn was real, I'd have at least eight bucks.

Where did July go?

So I've been pretty busy the past couple of weeks.

I had a birthday, shout croquet! I mean hurray!
Well, we played croquet and...
had ice cream, as you can see from Brenix's face. Overall it was a fabulous birthday. Oh and watch out for those wickets!

I also had the Fackrell Family reunion. Surprisingly enough, I spent a lot of time with the fam. I was great to see some cousins I haven't seen in a long time and to try and win the hearts of the younger cousins that don't know any better (I think I've got Jake and Hi, now on to the other 20 or 30!)

Jake thinks I'm fabulous! Call me! Emma thinks I'm okay sometimes.

Courtnie goes out of her way to say hi to me... and of course I always have Krysta!

And after the family reunion, my mom and daddy-o, Krysta, Aunt Lorna and Uncle Richard, Carissa, and Mya went to......
and I rode this......

That would be Wicked, 2,000 feet of 55 mph (that's miles per hour, the speed of a some state highways) of roller coaster bliss. Don't even think that I didn't it ride this baby 3 times and could have went back for more. It was totally wicked!!

And I rode this......
It spins around and around and around, then it spins backwards. Makes me pukey just thinking about it!

And that's about it. Boy was it fun!

Not so lucky...

Okay, so it has been a while since I posted, but I finally have a story worthy of posting.

I have really enjoyed living in my new place. The basement apartment I moved in to is neat, clean, and cool. I believe this is the first summer since I have lived in Pocatello that I haven't died from heat every night!

There has been, unfortunately, one downside. And it came to a climax this morning...

This is me:

This was the extra protein that found its way into my breakfast of choice:

I chose the chocolate milk.

Cruisin' in the Carribbean!!

So my brother Brad had the most brilliant idea. He thought we (meaning Tyler, Krysta, him and me) should go on a cruise. So we did. After careful planning and a helpful cruise lady (whoot whoot for Wanda!!), we were on our way to paradise!

The ship was ginormous! Our favorite deck was the Lido deck with its buffets, sunshine, buffets, drinks and buffets! My body has seriously had some problems with not getting all the calories it was getting last week.

Thats a really big butt.

I did go snorkeling. I hate water (with the exception of showering) and I hate being in water that I can't touch the bottom of (i.e., the Atlantic Ocean). I survived, saw a shipwreck, a turtle, and a few Dory fish. Not sure it was worth risking my life for, but at least I can say I did it. Tyler was a great support and talked me out of hyperventilating.

It was great. Here are some more random pics. Just so you know, Brad already has me looking for the next one, so whoever wants to go, let me know!

The Texting Master

This weekend, my bestest friend/cousin Nicci and my awesome Aunt Ila came to visit the family in Idaho. We did what we do best whenever we get together: we ate, we shopped, we ate, we talked, we ate, we slept, we ate, we played games, we. . . well you get the idea.

We also learned some sweet skills too. Grandpa Fackrell decided he wanted to get into this texting thing and asked Nicci for some help. When Nicci had to leave to help her chillins', I stepped up to the plate. It tested my T9 word skills, but soon my grandpa was a texting machine. He even dubbed himself "the best text messenger." He needed a little help getting that out, but if he keeps texting my mom, he'll be a master in no time. LOL! TTFN!

Me with the Texting Master! How lucky am I!

Holidays have come and gone!

It is back to work for me this week, but I sure had a blast with my family over the Christmas break. Two weeks in Blackfoot was surprisingly relaxing! We had a great time playing cards and Twister and eating and being goofy! It was lots of fun and I was so sad to leave! But I'm glad to be back with my roomies and friends! Here's some pics of my break!
